In Saudi Arabia nowadays, an online appointment of Fahas (Motor Vehicle Periodic Inspection – MVPI) is a must before you get to any of the inspection stations. With this system, there will be smoother service, less congestion and faster inspection of all owners of the vehicles.

You need to renew your Istimara (vehicle registration) or need to take your annual inspection, here’s the simplest method of booking your Fahas appointment online with only a few minutes to do it.

Go to MVPI Booking Official Site.

Firstly, you need to either open a web browser on your computer or phone and use the official MVPI booking portal:

You can only do this in this official platform where you can make your Fahas appointment.

2. Select “Book Appointment”

• Once you’re on the platform:
• Click on Book Appointment button or any other button on the homepage.
• The system will lead to the booking form.

With your own information, fill in.

Add your personal information:

• Full name
• Mobile number (you will get a verification code through SMS)
• Email (not obligatory but desirable)
• Note: It is also possible to delegate the inspection to another person, by typing in their details.

Enter Vehicle Details

Then, you will be requested to enter the information on your vehicle:

• License plate number
• Registration status (registered/not registered)
• Registration country
• Type of vehicle (private car, taxi, bus, truck, etc.)
• Registration number
• Ensure that all the information is right to prevent the problem with booking.

Select Type of Inspection & Service Center.

After you have entered your car details:

• Choose the type of inspection- Periodic Vehicle Inspection (Fahas/MVPI).
• Select your area (province) in Saudi Arabia.
• Select your favorite MVPI center (inspection station) in which you would like to present your vehicle.
• This assists you to locate a convenient station close to you.

6. Pick Date and Time

Now select:

• The date that fits best to you is the inspection date.
• A time slot
• During rush times, slots are occupied quickly and therefore early booking is recommended.

After choosing date and time:

• Click on I am not a robot and enter the Captcha.
• Type in the OTP (one time password) that has been sent to your cell phone.
• Click Confirm to save your appointment.

Save Your Booking Reference

Once completed:

• You will find a booking reference number and a QR code (or maybe a QR code) to your appointment.
• You will also get confirmation in the form of SMS.
• Record this the information – some of the inspection stations might require you to display it.

Cancel or Change your appointment (Optional)

Important Things to Know

Mandatory online booking of Fahas appointments started on May 1, 2023 in order to minimize crowding and improve service.

It is impossible to enter an MVPI station without making an appointment.
